This is a very beautiful, colorful and rare ORIGINAL Japanese woodblock print masterpiece “Tokyo Tower” signed by the famous Showa Shin Hanga woodblock print master Anzai Hiroaki (1905-1999) published by the famous Kyoto Hanga Printmaker made in 1950s IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. This is an original woodblock print about 65 years old. The artist’s signature and his chop mark are at the lower right corner of the print while the publisher Kyoto Hanga Printmaker chop mark, carver and printer’s chop marks and a special publisher’s chop mark are in the lower right border. The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers on the original Japanese Washi paper. All four borders are intact. This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese Mulberry paper. This ORIGINAL woodblock print is IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.
