Where does Shin Hanga Gallery acquire its prints?

The collection at Shin Hanga Gallery represents several decades of careful curation collection abroad. We do not deal with wholesalers or bulk purchasers as every print inspected by Shin Hanga Gallery must undergo individual inspection and appraisal before joining the catalog.

An item disappeared from my cart while I was browsing! What happened? 

Shin Hanga Gallery's online is a real-time database displaying many of the prints held at our gallery in Austin, Texas. These prints are often rare or one-of-a-kind pieces of artwork that exist in very limited quantities.

Our online catalog reflects what is in-stock at the moment to any and all purchasers. Until you have completed the Checkout process, another customer may purchase the item even if it is in your cart. If that happens, your item will be removed from your cart and may no longer be avialble for purchase.

A print I liked is 'Sold Out' will I be still be able to purchase it from Shin Hanga Gallery?

A print listed as 'Sold Out' has been purchased recently and may no longer be available. You are welcome to contact us at info@shinhangagallery.com to check on the availability of a 'Sold Out' print or prints similar to it that may be kept in our off-line catalog.

Is it safe to use credit cards for purchases on Shin Hanga Gallery?

Yes! Shin Hanga Gallery implements the latest in digital transaction security and privacy. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and other forms of payment.

Do you accept Paypal or Square?

Yes! Shin Hanga Gallery accepts payment through third-party online payment processors.

Do you accept cashier's checks or money orders?

Yes. However, online payments are highly preferred due to the additional time required to clear these forms of payment. Please allow a minimum of thirty (30) days to allow checks and money orders to clear before shipment will be processed.

Yes! Shin Hanga Gallery will ship internationally. We have experience safely shipping artwork and fragile articles to countries all around the world including those in Europe, Asia, and Australia.

What can cause my order to be delayed?

If the billing information you provided does not match what your bank has on file (including address and telephone number), your order may be delayed. Please verify all payment and account information before purchasing any items on Shin Hanga Gallery.

If you are shipping to an address other than your billing address, your order may be delayed. Please check the accuracy of all delivery addresses before completing the Checkout process.

What is your refund policy?

Shin Hanga Gallery understands that in rare instances certain purchases may not meet with the complete satisfaction of the purchaser. We make every effort to resolve all refund requests quickly and fairly. Our refund policy reflects a fair method of returning items and guaranteeing the quality of our catalog items.

Domestic Return Policy

All refund requests should be made to info@shinhangagallery.com with 'REFUND REQUEST' and the name of the item in the subject line within fourteen (14) days of receipt. The date of receipt is the date noted by tracking information provided by the common carrier service used to ship the item.

The purchaser is responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to Shin Hanga Gallery. The print must be shipped with tracking and must be received within fourteen (14) days of the purchaser receiving a response from Shin Hanga Gallery that the return has been approved. A full refund of the purchase price of the print will be released as soon as the item is returned.

International Return Policy

All refund requests should be made to info@shinhangagallery.com with 'REFUND REQUEST' and the name of the item in the subject line within thirty (30) days from date of sale. The date of sale is the date noted on the receipt received by the purchaser from Shin Hanga Gallery and its merchant services.

The purchaser is responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to Shin Hanga Gallery. The print must be shipped with tracking and must be received within thirty (30) days of the purchaser receiving a response from Shin Hanga Gallery that the return has been approved. A full refund of the purchase price of the print will be released as soon as the item is returned.
