HUGE Orig Japanese Woodblock Print PENCIL Sign Tadashi Nakayama Village 1956

This is a HUGE very beautiful and rare original Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print “Village “ PENCIL SIGNED by the famous Showa Shin Hanga woodblock master Tadashi Nakayama (1927-2014) made in 1956.  This is an ORIGINAL woodblock print about 61years old.  Tadashi Nakayama was a Japanese woodblock print artist, working in a style that combines influences from traditional Japanese ukiyo-e prints and Western painting. From 1962 to 1965 he lived in Italy and then England. This woodblock print is one of the core collections of a large number of gorgeous, different-styled Japanese woodblock print collections in my family, which we are gradually selling.  The print size is 25 3/4x 14 1/2 inches, which is MUCH LARGER than the traditional Shin Hanga woodblock prints.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers.  All four borders are intact.  The artist’s chop mark is in the back of the print while his PENCIL SIGNATURE “Tadashi Nakayama” and the date this print was made (1956) written in PENCIL are in the bottom border.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers.   This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese mulberry Washi paper.  Except for some foxing in the border, this original woodblock print is in good condition.  It is hard to find an original Japanese woodblock print of such a beautiful and rare scene PENCIL SIGNED by the famous Showa woodblock print master Tadashi Nakayama in the public nowadays.  This woodblock print is definitely an incredible piece for collecting.  Texas residents need to pay 8.25% tax.  Shipping is $16 dollars anywhere in US via USPS priority mail with insurance and tracking.  International shipping charges are US$20 through airmail WITHOUT insurance, buyers will have to assume all the risks during the mailing.  We do combined shipping.  If more than one item is purchased at the same time, the highest shipping cost will be charged.
