This is a very beautiful and colorful Japanese woodblock print “Education Principles” signed by the famous Meiji woodblock print master Kiyochika Kobayashi (1847-1915) made in Meiji 15, which is 1882 IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. This is an original woodblock print about 117 years old.  This woodblock print is one of the core collections of a large number of gorgeous, different-styled Japanese woodblock print collections in my family.  We are gradually selling them.  To see more on my family Japanese woodblock print and Asian art collection, please search for shinhangagallery.  The size of this woodblock print is 14 x 9 1/4 inches.  Kobayashi Kiyochika’s signature and chop mark are at the lower right corner of the print while the publisher’s address and publication date are in the bottom border of the print. All four borders are intact.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers on the print.  This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the Japanese mulberry paper.  This woodblock print is IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  Any credit card, visa, master card, bank and post office money order, cashier check and personal check are accepted.  Personal checks will take about ten days to clear.  Texas residents need to pay 8.25% tax.  Shipping is $16 dollars anywhere in US via USPS priority mail with insurance and tracking.  International shipping charges are US$25 through airmail WITHOUT insurance, buyers will have to assume all the risks during the mailing.  We do combined shipping.  If more than one item is purchased at the same time, the highest shipping cost will be charged.  THIS IS AN ORIGINAL JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINT SIGNED BY THE FAMOUS MEIJI SHIN HANGA WOODBLOCK PRINT MASTER KIYOCHIKA KOBAYASHI MADE IN MEIJI 15 (1882).  IT IS NOT A RE-CUT, REPRODUCTION, OR LITHO PRINT.
