This is a very beautiful and rare ORIGINAL-EDITION Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print “Gifu Nagara River Cormorant Fishing” signed by the famous Showa Shin Hanga woodblock print master Hiroshi Mamoru published by the famous Kyoto Printmaker made in 1950s IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. This is an original Hiroshi Mamoru woodblock print about 60 years old. This woodblock print is from my family seven-decade old collection of Japanese woodblock prints and Asian Art. The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers. All four borders are intact. This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese mulberry paper. The artist’s chop mark is at the lower right corner of the print while the title of this print “Gifu Nagara River Cormorant Fishing” is in the upper right border and the publisher Kyoto Hanga printmaker chop mark, “ORIGINAL EDITION” chop mark, carver and printer’s seals and a special publisher’s chop mark are in the lower right border. This ORIGINAL woodblock print is in EXCELLENT CONDITION. Any credit card, visa, master card, bank and post office money order, cashier check and personal check are accepted.
