A Huge Orig Japanese Woodblock Print PENCIL Sign Limited-edition Kitaoka Fumio Savannah Riverside Street Atlanta Georgia Water Marks 1992

This is a HUGE very beautiful, rare and LIMIT-EDITION (3/130) ORIGINAL Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print “Savannah Riverside Street Atlanta Georgia” from the famous series “Atlanta Georgia” PENCIL SIGNED by the Showa Shin Hanga woodblock master Kitaoka Fumio (1918-2007) made in 1992 with Two Kitaoka’s WATER MARKS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  This is an ORIGINAL woodblock print about 30 years old.  This woodblock print is one of the core collections of a large number of gorgeous, different-styled Japanese woodblock print collections in my family, which we are gradually selling.  To see more on my family Japanese woodblock print and Asian art collection, please search for shinhangagallery.com.  Kitaoka Fumio was born in Tokyo Japan 1918 and studied engraving in Paris from 1955 to 1956. From 1964 to 1965, he taught printmaking in Minneapolis Museum School of Art.  His work covers a broad range from black and white to color woodblock prints, and subjects from portraits to the abstract.  His woodblock prints have been collected by a lot of famous museums such as Tokyo Modern Art Museum, Boston Fine Art Museum and Modern Art Museum in New York.  The information of Kitaoka Fumio and the price of his woodblock prints can be found on the Internet.  The print size is 25 x 19 1/4 inches, which is MUCH LARGER than the traditional Shin Hanga woodblock prints.  The artist’s PENCIL SIGNATURE, Title of this ORIGINAL woodblock print “Savannah Riverside Street Atlanta Georgia”, Limited-edition (3/130) and the date this original woodblock print was made (1992) are in the bottom border. Two artist’s WATER MARKS are in the top border. The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers.   All four borders are intact.  This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese mulberry Washi paper.  There are some very tiny and almost invisible foxing spots in the right border, which does not affect the images at all. This original woodblock print is in excellent condition.  Please check enlarged pictures.
