This is a HUGE very beautiful, special and LINITED-NUMBER (Ex No. 18) original Japanese woodblock print “Ginza Woman (1)” signed by the famous Showa Shin Hanga woodblock print master Miyata Masayuki (1926 -1997) made in 1990s IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. This is an original woodblock print more than 30 years old. This woodblock print is from my family seven-decade Japanese woodblock prints and Asian Arts collections. We are gradually selling them. Information on Miyata Masayuki and the prices of his woodblock print can be easily found on Internet. The size of this woodblock print is 20 1/4 x 16 1/2 inches, which is MUCH LARGER than the traditional Shin Hanga woodblock print. The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers on the original Japanese Washi paper. The artist’s PENCIL SIGNATURE, his chop mark and the LIMITED-NMUBER (Ex No. 18) are in the bottom border while there are some embroidered Marks “BRESDIN JAPON” are at the bottom edge. This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese Mulberry paper. Four borders are intact. This ORIGINAL woodblock print is IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. This artwork may be a silk screen print, too. Sorry, I am not exactly sure. It is hard to find such a beautiful and rare ORIGINAL Japanese woodblock print signed by the contemporary Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print master Miyata Masayuki in the public nowadays.
