This is a very beautiful and colorful ORIGINAL Japanese woodblock print triptych “Tokyo Asakusa Bridge” signed by the famous Meiji woodblock print master Kunitora Utagawa made in Meiji Era (1867-1912) IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. This is an original Japanese woodblock triptych print more than 140 years old. This woodblock print triptych is a part of a large number of gorgeous, different-styled Japanese woodblock print collections in my family. We are gradually selling them. The three panels are separate. The size of each panel of this woodblock print triptych is 14 ½ x 9 3/4 inches. This woodblock print triptych depicts prosperity of Tokyo Asakusa bridge in Meji Era. The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers. This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboad. Strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese Washi paper. The artist’s signature and Toshidama seal are at the lower right corner of the right panel while another publisher’s chop mark is at the lower left corner of the left panel. This woodblock print triptych is IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. Please examine the photos.
