A Great Orig Japanese Woodblock Print Ohno Bafuku Ikabana Flower Arrangement Kyoto Printmaker 1952 ORIGINAL EDITION

This is a very beautiful and rare ORIGINAL-EDITION Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print “Ikabana, Flower Arrangement” signed by the famous Showa Shin Hanga woodblock print master Ohno Bakufu (1888 - 1976) published by the famous Kyoto Printmaker made in 1952 IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. This is an original Ohno Bakufu woodblock print about 70 years old. This woodblock print is from my family seven-decade old collection of Japanese woodblock prints and Asian Art. The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers. All four borders are intact. This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese mulberry paper. The artist’s Japanese signature, his English signature “B Ohno” and his chop mark are at the lower right corner of the print while the chop mark of Kyoto Hanga printmaker in English “Printed by Kyoto Hanga in 1952” and “ORIGINAL EDITION” chop mark and printer’s chop marks are in the lower left border. This ORIGINAL woodblock print is IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.
