A Great Orig Japanese Woodblock Print Limited# Hisashi Yamamoto Kabuki Samurai Seeding Bud

This is a very beautiful, special, rare and LIMITED-NUMBER (AP, artist preserved edition) original Japanese woodblock print “Kabuki Samurai Seeding Bud” from the Kabuk Theatre Series signed by the famous Showa Shin Hanga woodblock print master Hisashi Yamamoto made in April Showa 60, which is 1985 IN EXCELENT CONDITION.  This is an original woodblock print more than 40 years old. This woodblock print is from my family seven-decade Japanese woodblock prints and Asian Arts collections. His portraits of actors and scenes from the kabuki theater display an impressive artistic prowess. His artworks can easily rival those crafted by Natori Shunsen. We are not sure exactly who the Hisashi Yamamoto life story is, however, his work is very hard to find and worth thousands of dollars nowadays. The size of this ORIGINAL WOODBLOCK PRINT is 12 x 18 inches. The artist’s signature and his chop mark are at the lower left corner of the print while the title of the print “Kabuki Samurai Seeding Bud” is in the upper right border. The carver’s and printer’s chop marks are in the lower right border while the publication date April Showa 60, which is 1985, two publisher’s chop marks and Limited-Edition (AP, artist preserved) writing are in the lower left and bottom border. The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers on the original Japanese Washi paper. This ORIGINAL woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese Mulberry paper.  Four borders are intact.  This original woodblock print is IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  Shipping is $16 dollars anywhere in US via USPS priority mail with insurance and tracking.  International shipping charges are US$33 through airmail WITHOUT insurance, buyers will have to assume all the risks during the mailing.
