This is on a very beautiful and unique original Japanese woodblock print masterpiece “Bijin Beauty after Bath” signed by the famous Showa Shin-Hanga woodblock print master Iwata Sentaro (1901-1974) made in 1970s IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. This is an original woodblock print about 50 years old. This original woodblock print is one of the core collections from a large number of Asian art and Japanese woodblock print collections in my family, that we are gradually selling. Iwata Sentaro’s woodblock prints have been collected by National Tokyo Modern Art Museum and are desperately searched by Japanese and European collectors. The artist’s chop mark is at the lower right corner of the woodblock print. All four borders are intact. This original woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese Washi paper.
