Orig Japanese Woodblock Print Triptych Taguchi Beisaku Horseman Sino-Japan War

This is a very special original Japanese woodblock print triptych “Manchurian Horseman on an Expedition to Survey Japanese Camp near Sauboku” from the Series of Sino-Japan War signed by the famous Meiji woodblock print master of war scenes, Taguchi Beisaku (1864-1903), made in January Meiji 27,which is 1894 IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  This woodblock print triptych is part of a large number of gorgeous, different-styled Japanese woodblock print collections.  We are gradually selling them.  This is an original Japanese woodblock print about 124 years old.  Taguchi Beisaku was a student of Kiyochika Kobayashi and the peer of famous Shin-Hanga woodblock print master Koitsu.  He was very well known for war scene woodblock prints depicting the Sino-Japan War and Russo-Japan War.  His woodblock prints are rare today and are highly searched for by collectors around the world.   The information of Taguchi Beisaku and the price of his work can be found on Internet such as the site http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=taguchi+beisaku&ei=UTF-8&fr=FP-tab-web-t&x=wrt.   The three panels of this triptych are separated.  The size of each panel of this woodblock print triptych is 14 x 9 ¼ inches.  The artist’s signature and his chop mark are at the lower right corner of the right panel while the carver’s and printer’s seals are at the lower left corner of the left panel.  The publisher’s chop and address and the publication date January Meiji 28 (1895) are in the left border of the left panel.   The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers on the print.  The triptych is attached to original Japanese Washi backing paper to protect it from forming wormholes and tearing, but ink bleeding through can still be seen from the back.  This woodblock triptych is IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  It is hard to find an original Japanese woodblock print triptych of such beautiful, special and rare scene signed by the Meiji woodblock print master Taguchi Beisaku in the public nowadays and it is definitely an incredible piece for collecting.  Any credit card, visa, master card, bank and post office money order, cashier check and personal check are accepted.  Personal checks will take about ten days to clear.  Texas residents need to pay 8.25% tax.  Shipping is $16 dollars anywhere in US via USPS priority mail with insurance and tracking.  International shipping charges are US$25 through airmail WITHOUT insurance, buyers will have to assume all the risks during the mailing.  We do combined shipping.  If more than one item is purchased at the same time, the highest shipping cost will be charged.  THIS IS AN ORIGINAL JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINT TRIPTYCH SIGNED BY THE MEIJI WOODBLOCK PRINT MASTER OF WAR SCENE TAGUCHI BEISAKU MADE IN JANUARY MEIJI 28 (1895).  IT IS NOT A RE-CUT, REPRODUCTION, OR LITHO PRINT.
