Orig Japanese Woodblock Print Triptych Chikashige 1st EDITION Kabuki Samurai Legend Love Story

This is a very colorful, beautiful, and FIRST-EDITION original Japanese woodblock print triptych “Kabuki Samurai Legend Love Story” signed by the famous Meiji woodblock print master Chikashige Morikawa (active 1869-1882), made in Meiji Era.  This is an original woodblock print triptych more than 120 years old.  This woodblock print is one of the core collections of a large number of Asian art and Japanese woodblock print collections in my family.  We are gradually selling them. The three panels are separate.  The size of each panel of this triptych is 14 1/4 x 9 1/2 inches.  The artist’s signature with Toshidama seal and carver’s seal are close to the middle left edge of the right panel while the chop marks of the publisher’s name, address, FIRST-EDITION CHOP MARK and a special “Large” publisher chop mark are at the upper left corner of the left panel.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers on the print.  The triptych is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard.  Strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of original Japanese Washi paper.  Except for a very minor vertical wrinkle at the left edge of the right panel due to the prints age, this original woodblock print triptych is in good condition.  It is hard to find such a colorful, beautiful, and FIRST-EDITION original woodblock print triptych signed by Meiji woodblock print master Chikashige in the public nowadays and it is definitely an incredible piece for collecting.  Any credit card, visa, master card, bank and post office money order, cashier check and personal check are accepted.  Personal checks will take about ten days to clear.  Texas residents need to pay 8.25% tax.  Shipping is $16 dollars anywhere in US via USPS priority mail with insurance and tracking.  International shipping charges are US$25 through airmail WITHOUT insurance, buyers will have to assume all the risks during the mailing.  We do combined shipping.  If more than one item is purchased at the same time, the highest shipping cost will be charged.  If full payment is not received in 7 days, the items will be re-listed for sale.  THIS IS A ORIGINAL JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINT TRIPTYCH SIGNED BY THE MEIJI UKIYOE WOODBLOCK PRINT MASTER CHIKASHIGE MADE IN MEIJI ERA.  IT IS NOT A RE-CUT, REPRODUCTION, OR LITHO PRINT.
