Orig Japanese Woodblock Print Okuruma Koichi Autumn at Lake Towada

This is a very beautiful and special original Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print “Autumn at Lake Towada” signed by the famous Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print Master Okuruma Koichi (1904-1974) published by the famous printmaker UNSODO in May Showa 22, which is 1947 IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  This is an original woodblock print about 70 years old.  This woodblock print is one of the core collections of a large number of gorgeous, different-styled Japanese woodblock print collections in my family. The size of this woodblock print is 15 1/4 x 10 1/2 inches.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers.  Four borders are intact.  This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original mulberry paper.  The artist’s chop mark and his signature are at the lower left corner of the print while the title of this print “Autumn at Lake Towada” and the date this print was published “May Showa 22 (1947)” are in the left border; the publisher Unsodo chop mark, the carver and printer’s chop marks are in the right border.  This ORIGINAL woodblock print is IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  Please check with the enlarged pictures.  It is hard to find such a beautiful and rare original woodblock print signed by the Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print master Okumura Koichi in the public nowadays.  This original woodblock print is definitely an incredible piece for collecting.  Any credit card, visa, master card, bank and post office money order, cashier check and personal check are accepted.  Personal checks will take about ten days to clear.
