This is a very beautiful and special Limited-Number (24/36) original Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print “Woman and Flower” PENCIL SIGNED by the famous Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print Master Kihei Sasajima (1906-1993) made in 1959 IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. This is an original woodblock print about 60 years old. This woodblock print is from Dr. Ben family seven-decade old collection of Japanese woodblock prints and Asian Art. Information on Kihei Sasajima and the prices of his woodblock print can be found on Internet. The size of this ORIGINAL woodblock print is 15 1/4 x 13 1/8 inches. The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers. This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese mulberry paper. The artist’s chop mark, the artist PENCIL SIGNATURE, LIMITED-NUMBER (24/36) and the publication date 1959 are at the lower right corner of the print.
