Orig Japanese Woodblock Print Asano Takeji Snow in Yuki Shrine Showa 27 (1952) Published by Unsodo

This is a very beautiful and special ORIGINAL Japanese woodblock print “Snow in Yuki Shrine” signed by the famous Showa Shin Hanga woodblock print master Asano Takeji (1900-1999) published by the famous printmaker Unsodo made in Showa 27, which is 1952 IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  This is an original woodblock print about 67 years old.   This woodblock print is one of the core collection of a large number of gorgeous, different-styled Japanese woodblock print collections in my family, which we are gradually selling.  Asano Takeji is one of the most famous Shin Hanga woodblock print artists in the Showa Era.  He is as famous as Kawase Hasui, Koitsu, and Yoshida with whom he opened a new Era of Ukiyoe and formed the core of Shin-Hanga.  The information of Asano Takeji  is at the following link. https://www.google.com/search?q=asano+takeji&rlz=1C1VASU_enUS540US542&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjEtauVndjeAhVfFzQIHZyfCNUQ_AUIDigB&biw=1536&bih=750&dpr=1.25.  The print size is 16 x 10 1/2 inches.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers.  The artist’s signature is at the lower left corner of the print while the publisher Unsodo chop mark, carver and printer’s chop mark, publication date Showa 27 (1952) are in the right border.
