Orig Japanese Woodblock Print Asano Takeji Drizzling Rain in Ukimido Showa 26 (1951)

This is a very beautiful and special ORIGINAL Japanese woodblock print “Drizzling Rain in Ukimido” signed by the famous Showa Shin Hanga woodblock print master Asano Takeji (1900-1999) published by the famous printmaker Unsodo made in Showa 26, which is 1951.  This is an original woodblock print about 68 years old.   This woodblock print is one of the core collection of a large number of gorgeous, different-styled Japanese woodblock print collections in my family, which we are gradually selling.  Asano Takeji is one of the most famous Shin Hanga woodblock print artists in the Showa Era.  He is as famous as Kawase Hasui, Koitsu, and Yoshida with whom he opened a new Era of Ukiyoe and formed the core of Shin-Hanga.  The information of Asano Takeji  is at the following link. https://www.google.com/search?q=asano+takeji&rlz=1C1VASU_enUS540US542&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjEtauVndjeAhVfFzQIHZyfCNUQ_AUIDigB&biw=1536&bih=750&dpr=1.25.  The print size is 16 x 10 3/4 inches.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers.  The artist’s signature is at the lower left corner of the print while the publisher’s chop mark, carver and printer’s chop mark, publication date Showa 26 (1951) and the title of this print “Drizzling Rain in Ukimido” are in the lower left border of the print.  Four borders are intact.  Except for some minor foxing in the borders, which does not affect the images, this woodblock print is in good condition.   Please examine the photos.  It is hard to find an original Asano Takeji’s woodblock print of such a special scene in the public nowadays.  This woodblock print is definitely an incredible piece for collecting.  Any credit card, visa, master card, bank and post office money order, cashier check and personal check are accepted.  Personal checks will take about ten days to clear.  Texas residents need to pay 8.25% tax.  Shipping is $16 dollars anywhere in US via USPS priority mail with insurance and tracking.  International shipping charges are US$25 through airmail WITHOUT insurance, buyers will have to assume all the risks during the mailing.  We do combined shipping.  If more than one item is purchased at the same time, the highest shipping cost will be charged.  THIS IS AN ORIGINAL JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINT SIGNED BY THE FAMOUS SHOWA SHIN HANGA WOODBLOCK PRINT MASTER ASANO TAKEJI PUBLISHED BY UNSODO PRINTMAKER IN SHOWA 26, WHICH IS 1951.  IT IS NOT A RE-CUT, REPRODUCTION, OR LITHO PRINT.
