This is a very beautiful and rare Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print “Woman Holding Red Dish” from the famous Shin-Hanga woodblock print artist Hashiguchi Goyo (1880-1921) published by the famous printmaker YuYuDo IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. This woodblock print is from my family seven-decade old collection of Japanese woodblock prints and Asian Art. The artist’s signature, his chop mark, and the date that this print was made “January Taisho 9 (1921) are close to the middle right edge of the print while the printmaker YuYuDo’s chop mark is in the lower right border. There is another YuYuDo publisher chop mark; carver and printer’s chop marks are in the back of the lower left edge.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers. This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese mulberry paper.  All four borders are intact.   This woodblock print is IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. It is hard to find a Hashiguchi Goyo’s work in the public nowadays and it is definitely an incredible piece for collecting.  Any credit card, visa, master card, bank and post office money order, cashier check and personal check are accepted.  Personal checks will take about ten days to clear.  Texas residents need to pay 8.25% tax.  Shipping is $16 dollars anywhere in US via USPS priority mail with insurance and tracking.  International shipping charges are US$25 through airmail WITHOUT insurance, buyers will have to assume all the risks during the mailing.  We do combined shipping.  If more than one item is purchased at the same time, the highest shipping cost will be charged.
