A Huge Orig Japanese Woodblock Print PENCIL Sign LIMIT# Yasushi Ohmoto Onuma and Water Basho

This is a very special and rare original LIMITED NUMBER (AP, artist proof) Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print “Onuma and Water Basho” PENCIL SIGNED by the famous Showa Shin Hanga woodblock artist Yasushi Ohmoto (1926-) made in 1980s IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  This is an ORIGINAL woodblock print about 40 years old. This woodblock print is from my family seven-decade Japanese woodblock prints and Asian Arts collections. The size of this OROGINAL woodblock print is  21 x 14 3/4 inches, which is MUCH LARGER than the traditional Shin Hanga woodblock prints.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers.  All four borders are intact.  The artist’s PENCIL SIGNATURE “Yasushi Ohmoto”, the title of the print “Onuma and Water Basho” and the Limited Number “AP, artist proof” written in PENCIL are in the bottom border.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers.   This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese mulberry Washi paper.  This original woodblock print is IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  Shipping is $16 anywhere in US by USPS priority mail with insurance and tracking.  International shipping charges are US$28 through 1st class airmail WITHOUT insurance, buyers will have to assume all the risks during the mailing.
