A HUGE Orig Japanese Woodblock Print PENCIL Sign Limit# Kitaoka Fumio Neva River Sunshine at Leningrad Russia

This is a HUGE very beautiful and original LIMITED NUMBER (2/100) Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print “Neva River Sunshine at Leningrad Russia” PENCIL SIGNED by the famous Showa Shin Hanga woodblock master Kitaoka Fumio (1918-) made in 1973 IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  This is an ORIGINAL woodblock print about 50 years old. This woodblock print is from my family seven-decade old collection of Japanese woodblock prints and Asian Art. The size of this ORIGINAL Woodblock print is 24 x 18 3/4 inches.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers.  All four borders are intact.  The artist’s PENCIL SIGNATURE “Fumio Kitaoka”, the publication date “’1973”, title of the print “Neva River Sunshine at Leningrad “ and the Limited Number “2/100” written in PENCIL are in the bottom border.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers.   This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese mulberry Washi paper.  This original woodblock print is IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.
