A HUGE Orig Japanese Woodblock Print PENCIL Sign Limit# Hashimoto Okiie Morning of Marugame Castle with Twilight Moon 1970

This is a HUGE very beautiful, rare and LIMITED NUMBER (53/80) ORIGINAL Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print “Twilight of Marugame Castle with Moon”, one of the core artwork of Hashimoto’s castle scene PENCIL SIGNED by the famous Showa Shin Hanga woodblock master Hashimoto Okiie (1899-1993)made in 1970.  This is an ORIGINAL woodblock print more than 50 years old.  This woodblock print is one of the core collections of a large number of gorgeous, different-styled Japanese woodblock print collections in my family, which we are gradually selling.  The information of Hashimoto Okiie and the price of his woodblock prints can be found on the Internet.  The print size is 20 3/4 x 25 1/4 inches, which is MUCH LARGER than the traditional Shin Hanga woodblock prints.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers.  All four borders are intact.  Two artist’s chop marks are at the lower left corner of the print while  the artist PENCIL SIGNATURE, publication date “’1970”, title of the print “Morning of Marugame Castle” and the Limited Number “53/80” written in PENCIL are in the bottom border.
