A Huge Orig Japanese Woodblock Print Limit Number PENCIL Sign Kiyoshi Saito Enkaku–Ji Kamakura (C) 1971

This is a HUGE very beautiful and special LIMITED-NUMBER (26/80) ORIGINAL Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print “Enkaku-Ji Kamakura (C)” PENCIL SIGNED by the famous Showa Shin Hanga woodblock print master Kiyoshi Saito (1907-1997) with artist’s EMBROIDER MARK made in 1971.  This is an original woodblock print about 50 years old.  This original woodblock print is one of the core collections of a large number of gorgeous, different-styled Japanese woodblock print and Asian art collections in my family, which we are gradually selling.  To see more on my family Japanese woodblock print and Asian art collection, please search for shinhangagallery.com on Google.  The print size is 24 x 17 3/4 inches, which is MUCH LARGER than the traditional Shin Hanga woodblock print.  The artist’s signature and his chop mark are at the lower left corner of the print while the artist’s PENCIL SIGNATURE, title of the print “Enkaku-Ji Kamakura (C)”, LIMITED NUMBER (26/80) and date of this print was made 1971 are in the bottom border. There is an artist’s EMBRIODERED CHOP MARK in the bottom border.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers on the original Japanese Washi paper.  This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese Mulberry paper.  Four borders are intact.  Except for some foxing in the borders, which does not affect the images at all, this original woodblock print is in good condition.  Shipping is $16 anywhere in US by USPS priority mail with insurance and tracking.  International shipping charges are US$28 through airmail WITHOUT insurance, buyers will have to assume all the risks during the mailing.
