This is a very beautiful and colorful ORIGINAL Japanese Yokohama woodblock print triptych “Yokohama British Trading Place” signed by the famous Meiji woodblock print master Yoshiiku (1833-1904) made in Meiji Era (1868-1912). This is an original Japanese woodblock triptych print more than 120 years old. This woodblock print triptych is a part of a large number of gorgeous, different-styled Japanese woodblock print collections in my family. We are gradually selling them. The three panels are separate. The size of each panel of this woodblock print triptych is 10 x14 1/2 inches. This woodblock print triptych depicts the Yokohama British Trading Place. The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers. This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard. Ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese Washi paper. The artist’s signature and chop mark and a censor seal are on each panel of this triptych while an extra publisher’s chop mark is also on the right and middle panel. Except for toning and a repair in the back of the left panel, this ORIGINAL woodblock print triptych is in good condition. Please examine the photos. It is hard to find such a beautiful and special ORIGINAL woodblock print triptych signed by Meiji woodblock print master Yoshiiku in the public nowadays and it is definitely an incredible piece for collecting.
