A Great Orig Japanese Woodblock Print Nakamua Daizaburo Gikakuji Snow Kyoto Hanga Printmaker1950 ORIGINAL EDITION

This is a very beautiful and rare ORIGINAL-EDITION Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print “Gikakuji Snow” signed by the famous Showa Shin Hanga woodblock print master Nakamua Daizaburo (1894 -) published by the famous Kyoto Printmaker made in Showa 29 February (1954) IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  This is an original Nakamua Daizaburo woodblock print about 70 years old. This woodblock print is from my family seven-decade old collection of Japanese woodblock prints and Asian Art. To see more on my family Japanese woodblock print and Asian art collection, please search for shinhangagallery.com.  The size of this ORIGINAL woodblock print is 16 1/4 x 11 ¾ inches.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers. All four borders are intact.  This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese mulberry paper. The artist’s Japanese signature and his chop mark are at the lower right corner of the print while the title of this print “Gikakuji Snow”, the publisher Kyoto Hanga Printmaker chop mark,  the publication date Showa 29 February (1954) chop mark and the “ORIGINAL EDITION” chop mark are in the right border.  There are also the publisher’s chop mark, carver and printer’s chop marks are in the lower right border.
