Large Original Japanese Woodblock Print Ishikawa Toraji Fuji from Miho in Spring

This is an EXTRA LARGE very beautiful and special original Japanese woodblock print “Fuji from Miho in Spring” signed by the Famous Taisho/Showa Shin Hanga woodblock print artist Ishikawa Toraji (1875 ~1964) made in 1934.  This is an original woodblock print more than 85 years old.  This woodblock print is one of the core collections of a large number of gorgeous, different-styled Japanese woodblock print collections in my family. We are gradually selling them.  To see more on my family Japanese woodblock print and Asian art collection, please search for shinhangagallery.com.  The size of this woodblock print is 18 x 14 1/2 inches, which is LARGER than the traditional Shin Hanga woodblock prints.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers on the original Japanese Washi paper.  The artist’s signature and his chop mark are at the lower right corner of the print while the title of this print “Fuji from Miho in Spring” is in the upper left border and the craver and printer’s chop marks are in the lower left border of the print.  This ORIGINAL woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese mulberry paper.  All four borders are intact.  Except for a little foxing in the bottom border, this ORIGINAL woodblock print is in good condition.  It is hard to find such a beautiful and rare ORIGINAL woodblock print signed by the Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print master Ishikawa Toraji made in 1930s in the public nowadays.  This original woodblock print is definitely an incredible piece for collecting.  Any credit card, visa, master card, bank and post office money order, cashier check and personal check are accepted.  Personal checks will take about ten days to clear.
