Japanese Woodblock Print Asano Takeji Miyamachi Street Kyoto

This is a very beautiful and special Japanese woodblock print “Miyamachi Street Kyoto” signed by the famous Showa Shin Hanga woodblock print master Asano Takeji (1900-1999) published by the Unsodo printmaker made in Showa Era.  This is an original woodblock print.   This woodblock print is one of the core collections of a large number of gorgeous, different-styled Japanese woodblock print collections in my family, which we are gradually selling.  Asano Takeji is one of the most famous Shin Hanga woodblock print artists in the Showa Era.  He is as famous as Kawase Hasui, Koitsu, and Yoshida with whom he opened a new Era of Ukiyoe and formed the core of Shin-Hanga.  The information of Asano Takeji  is at the following link. https://www.google.com/search?q=asano+takeji&rlz=1C1VASU_enUS540US542&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjEtauVndjeAhVfFzQIHZyfCNUQ_AUIDigB&biw=1536&bih=750&dpr=1.25.  The print size is 15 3/4 x 10 3/4 inches.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers.  The title of this print in English “Miyamachi Street Kyoto” is in the bottom border and the Japanese title is in the left border while the publisher Unsodo chop mark, the carver and printer’s chop marks are in the lower right border.  Four borders are intact.  Except for some foxing in the borders, which does not affect the images at all, this woodblock print is in good condition.   Please examine the photos.  It is hard to find an Asano Takeji’s woodblock print of such a special scene in the public nowadays.  This woodblock print is definitely an incredible piece for collecting.  Any credit card, visa, master card, bank and post office money order, cashier check and personal check are accepted.  Personal checks will take about ten days to clear.  Texas residents need to pay 8.25% tax.  Shipping is $16 dollars anywhere in US via USPS priority mail with insurance and tracking.  International shipping charges are US$25 through airmail WITHOUT insurance, buyers will have to assume all the risks during the mailing.  We do combined shipping.  If more than one item is purchased at the same time, the highest shipping cost will be charged.
