A Large Orig Japanese Woodblock Print Kazuma Tsuji Spring Boat in Seto Inland Sea
This is an EXTRA LARGE very beautiful and special original Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print “Spring Boat in Seto Inland Sea” signed by the famous Showa modern woodblock print master Kazuma Tsuji (1933-) made in 1980s. This is an original woodblock print about 30 years old. This original woodblock print is one of the core collections of a large number of gorgeous, different-styled Japanese woodblock print and Asian art collections in my family, which we are gradually selling. The print size is 19 1/4 x 12 inches, which is MUCH LARGER than the traditional Shin Hanga woodblock prints. The artist’s chop mark is at the lower right corner of the print. The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers on the original Japanese Washi paper. This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and STRONG ink bleeding can be seen through the back of original Japanese Washi paper. Except for some minor foxing, this original woodblock print is in good condition. It is hard to find such an EXTRA LARGE beautiful original Japanese woodblock print signed by the famous Showa Shin Hanga woodblock print master Kazuma Tsuji in the public nowadays.
