HUGE Orig Japanese Woodblock Print LIMIT # Pencil Sign Koichi Maeda Early Spring 1981

This is a HUGE very beautiful and special LIMITED-NUMBER (5/30) original Japanese woodblock print “Early Spring” PENCIL SIGNED by the Showa Shin-Hanga artist Koichi Maeda (1936-) made in 1981 IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. This is an original woodblock print about 37 years old.  This woodblock print is from my family seven-decade Japanese woodblock prints and Asian Art collections. Maeda Koichi was born in Toyko in 1936.  He works in the technique of the traditional Japanese woodblock prints. Favorite subjects are landscapes and rural village scenes. Maeda Koichi prints are full of beauty, serenity and calmness and are hard to find in the public. This size of this ORIGINAL woodblock print is 24 x 18 1/4 inches, which is MUCH LARGER than the traditional Shin Hanga woodblock prints.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers.  This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese mulberry paper.  Four borders (margins) of the print are intact.   The artist’s PENCIL SIGNATURE, LIMITED-NUMBER (5/30) and Title of the print “Early Spring “are in the bottom border.  This ORIGINAL woodblock print is IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  It is hard to find an original woodblock print signed by Taisho/Showa Shin Hanga woodblock print master Koichi Maeda in the public nowadays.  This woodblock print is definitely an incredible piece for collecting.  Any credit card, visa, master card, bank and post office money order, cashier check and personal check are accepted.  Personal checks will take about ten days to clear.  Texas residents need to pay 8.25% tax.  Shipping is $16 dollars anywhere in US via USPS priority mail with insurance and tracking.  International shipping charges are US$25 through airmail WITHOUT insurance, buyers will have to assume all the risks during the mailing.
