Original Japanese Woodblock Print Yuji Watanabe LIMIT# PENCIL SGN Jumping A

Description & History- This is a HUGE, very beautiful and special LIMITED-NUMBER (17/100) ORIGINAL Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print “Jumping A” PENCIL SIGNED by the famous Showa Shin Hanga woodblock print master Watanabe Yuji (1941-) made in 1985.  This is an original woodblock print about 31 years old.  This woodblock print is from Dr. Ben family seven-decade Japanese woodblock prints and Asian Arts collections.

Print Condition- The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers.   All four borders are intact.  The artist’s PENCIL SIGNATURE, the title of this woodblock print “Jumping A ", the LIMITED-NUMBER (17/100) and the publication date “1985” are in the bottom border.  You can clearly tell they are handwritten in pencil by him by the depth of pencil indentation into the original Japanese mulberry paper.   This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese Washi paper.   There is minor paper lose at the upper left corner in the border, this original woodblock print is in excellent condition.

Shipping- Shipping is $16 anywhere in US by USPS priority mail with insurance and tracking.  Due to the recent postage raise for the large dimension international mail, international shipping charges are US$35 through 1st class airmail WITHOUT insurance, buyers will have to assume all the risks during the mailing. If you choose to mail by international priority mail with tracking and limited insurance, it costs around $50.  We do combined shipping.  If more than one item is purchased at the same time, the highest shipping cost will be charged.
