This is a very beautiful and special original Japanese woodblock print “Shimabara Kadoya Culture Center” from the Series “The Twelve Famous Views of Kyoto” signed by the Showa Shin-Hanga artist Minagawa Taizo (1917-2005) published by the printmaker Unsodo made in 1960s IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. This is an original woodblock print about 50 years old.  This woodblock print is from my family seven-decade old collection of Japanese woodblock prints and Asian Art. The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers.  This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese mulberry paper.  Four borders (margins) of the print are intact.   The artist’s chop stamp is at the lower right corner of the woodblock print.  In the left border, there is the title of this woodblock print “Shimabara Kadoya”, the chop stamps of the artist’s name, the Unsodo publisher’s chop mark, and craver and printer’s chop seals. This woodblock print is IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. Shipping is $16 anywhere in US by USPS priority mail with insurance and tracking.  International shipping charges are US$25 through 1st class airmail WITHOUT insurance, buyers will have to assume all the risks during the mailing. If you choose to mail by international priority mail with tracking and limited insurance, it costs around $50.  We do combined shipping.  If more than one item is purchased at the same time, the highest shipping cost will be charged.
