$ 245.00

A beautiful master Japanese woodblock prints “Ohahi Bridge and Atake in Sudden Shower” from the famous Series “One Hundred Views of Famous Places in Edo” from the famous Edo artist Hiroshige Utagawa (1797-1858) with Shimotani Uoei seal published by Kyoto Hanga Printmaker in 1950s IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  The exact same woodblock print is displayed in the book "Ukiyo-e 250 Years of Japanese Art” written by Roni Neuer and Susugu Yoshida and published by Mayflower Books USA 1979, page 320.  This woodblock print is a part of a large number of gorgeous, different-styled Japanese woodblock print collections in my family.  We are gradually selling them. The size of this woodblock print is 10 1/2 x 16 inches.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers on the prints.  The four borders (margins) of the woodblock print are intact.  This print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding through can be seen from the back of the original Japanese mulberry paper.   The artist’s chop mark is at the lower left corner of the print.  The Shimotani Uoei seal and two more special censor seals are in the lower left border.  The Kyoto Hanga Printmaker chop mark, carver and printer’s chop marks and one special publisher’s chop mark are in the lower right border.  As far as I can tell there are no defects, foxing, or stains, this woodblock print is IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  Shipping is $16 dollars anywhere in US via USPS priority mail with insurance and tracking.  International shipping charges are US$25 through airmail WITHOUT insurance, buyers will have to assume all the risks during the mailing.  We do combined shipping.  If more than one item is purchased at the same time, the highest shipping cost will be charged.
