Huge Original Japanese Woodblock Print Yuji Watanabe LIMIT# PENCIL SGN Poem-3

This is a HUGE, very beautiful and special LIMITED-NUMBER (21/25) ORIGINAL Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print “Poem-3” PENCIL SIGNED by the famous Showa Shin Hanga woodblock print master Watanabe Yuji (1941-) made in 1974 IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  This is an original woodblock print about 44 years old.  This woodblock print is from my family seven-decade Japanese woodblock prints and Asian Arts collections. The size of print is 19 1/2 x 13 1/4 inches, which is much LARGER than the traditional Shin Hanga woodblock prints.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers.   All four borders are intact.   The artist’s PENCIL SIGNATURE, the title of this woodblock print “Poem-3 ", the LIMITED-NUMBER (21/25) and the publication date “1974” are in the bottom border.  You can clearly tell they are handwritten in pencil by him by the depth of pencil indentation into the original Japanese mulberry paper.   This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese Washi paper.  This ORIGINAL woodblock print is IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  It is hard to find a LIMITED-NUMBER (21/25) original Japanese woodblock print of such a beautiful and rare scene PENCIL SIGNED by the famous Showa woodblock print master Yuji Watanabe in the public nowadays.  This original woodblock print is definitely an incredible piece for collection.
