A Orig Japanese Woodblock Print Pencil-Signed Limited-Number Fujita Fumio Forest Bird A 1979 Yoseido Gallery

This is a very beautiful, special and LIMITED-NUMBER (124/200) original Japanese woodblock print “Forest Bird A” Pencil-Signed by the famous Showa Shin Hanga woodblock print master Fujita Fumio (1933-) made in 1979 purchased from the Yoseido Gallery IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  This is an original woodblock print about 44 years old.  This woodblock print is from my family seven-decade old collection of Japanese woodblock prints and Asian Art. The size of this print is 17 1/2 x 12 1/4 inches.  The artist’s Pencil Signature “F Fujita”, title of this print “Forest Bird A”, LIMITED- NUMBER (124/200) and date this print was made (1979) are in the bottom border. The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers on the original Japanese Washi paper.  This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese Mulberry paper.  Four borders are intact.  In the back, the previous owner, "The Yoseido Gallery" label is attached at the top border.  This original woodblock print is IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  Please examine the photos.  It is hard to find such a beautiful ORIGINAL Japanese woodblock print signed by Showa woodblock print master Fujita Fumio in the public nowadays and it is definitely an incredible piece for collecting.
