A HUGE Orig Japanese Woodblock Print PENCIL Sign Limit# Hashimoto Okiie Mt. Fuji Morning 1972

This is a HUGE, very beautiful, rare and LIMITED NUMBER (AP, artist proof) ORIGINAL Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print “Mt. Fuji Morning” PENCIL SIGNED by the famous Showa Shin Hanga woodblock master Hashimoto Okiie (1899-1993) made in 1972.  This is an ORIGINAL woodblock print more than 50 years old.  This woodblock print is one of the core collections of a large number of gorgeous, different-styled Japanese woodblock print collections in my family, which we are gradually selling.  The information of Hashimoto Okiie and the price of his woodblock prints can be found on the Internet.  The print size is 17 3/4 x 18 1/4 inches, which is MUCH LARGER than the traditional Shin Hanga woodblock prints.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers.  All four borders are intact.  The artist’s chop mark is at the lower left corner of the print while the artist PENCIL SIGNATURE, the time this print was made “1972”, title of the print “Fuji Morning” and the Limited Number “AP, artist proof” written in PENCIL are in the bottom border. This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese mulberry Washi paper.  Except for a foxing spot in the lower right border and some very light foxing in the sky, this ORIGINAL woodblock print is in good condition.  It is hard to find a LIMITED-NUMBER original Japanese woodblock print of such a beautiful and rare scene PENCIL SIGNED by the famous Showa woodblock print master Hashimoto Okiie  in the public nowadays.  This woodblock print is definitely an incredible piece for collecting.  Shipping is $16 dollars anywhere in US via USPS priority mail with insurance and tracking.  International shipping charges are US$28 through airmail WITHOUT insurance, buyers will have to assume all the risks during the mailing.  We do combined shipping.  If more than one item is purchased at the same time, the highest shipping cost will be charged.  THIS IS A LIMITED-NUMBER (AP) ORIGINAL JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINT “MT.
