A Huge Great Japanese Woodblock Print PENCIL Sign LIMIT Number Inagaki Tomoo Sitting Cat 1982 (2)

This is a HUGE, beautiful and special LIMITED-NUMBER (167/600) ORIGINAL Japanese woodblock print “Cat” PENCIL SIGNED by the famous Showa Shin Hanga woodblock print master Inagaki Tomoo (1902-1982) with an artist’s EMBROIDERED MARK made in 1982.  This woodblock print is about 45 years old.  This woodblock print is one of the core collections of a large number of gorgeous, different-styled Japanese woodblock print collections in my family. We are gradually selling them.  Information on Inagaki Tomoo and the prices of his woodblock print can be easily found on Internet.  The size of this woodblock print is 15 x 22 3/4 inches, which is MUCH LARGER than the traditional Shin Hanga woodblock prints.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers on the original Japanese Washi paper.  The artist’s signature and his chop mark are at the lower right corner of the print while the LIMITED-NUMBER (167/600) and date this woodblock print was made 1982 are in the bottom border. The artist’s EMBROIDERED MARK is in the right of bottom border.  This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese Mulberry paper.  Four borders are intact.  This woodblock print is in excellent condition.  We are not sure if this woodblock print is an original piece or a posthumous edition.  Shipping is $16 dollars anywhere in US via USPS priority mail with insurance and tracking.  International shipping charges are US$28 through airmail WITHOUT insurance, buyers will have to assume all the risks during the mailing.  We do combined shipping.  If more than one item is purchased at the same time, the highest shipping cost will be charged.  THIS IS A LIMITED-NUMBER (167/600) JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINT WITH ARTIST’S EMBROIDERED MARK AND PENCIL WRITTEN EDITION NUMBER AND DATE OF THE PRINT MADE IN 1982.  SF26_03282023)
