$ 299.00

This is a very beautiful and romantic Japanese woodblock print triptych from the famous Edo artist Hiroshige Utagawa (1797-1858) published by the famous Takamizawa printmaker made in Showa 50 (1975) IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  This woodblock print is a classical representation of Hiroshige’s mastery of romantic scenery of Japanese in Edo Era.  This woodblock print is from my family seven-decade Japanese woodblock prints and Asian Art collections. The three panels are separate. The size of each panel 16 x 10 3/4 inches.  The artist’s signature, his chop mark and one censor seal are at the lower right corner of the right panel while three censor seals are at middle and left panel and two censor seals are close to the title of the woodblock print triptych at the upper right corner of the right panel.  The publisher Takamizawa chop mark and carver and printer’s chop marks and the publication date Showa 50, which is 1975 are in the back of the print.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers on the original Japanese Washi paper.  This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese Mulberry paper.  This woodblock print is IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  Shipping is $16 dollars anywhere in US via USPS priority mail with insurance and tracking.  International shipping charges are US$25 through airmail WITHOUT insurance, buyers will have to assume all the risks during the mailing.  We do combined shipping.
