Great Original Japanese Woodblock Print Ito Shinsui Bijin-ga Snow Taisho 15, 1927

This is a very beautiful, and special original Japanese woodblock print “Snow” signed by the famous Taisho/Showa Shin Hanga woodblock print master Shinsui Ito (1898-1974) made in Taisho 15 (1927).  This is an original woodblock print about 92 years old.  This woodblock print is one of the core collections of a large number of gorgeous, different-styled Japanese woodblock print and Asian art collections in my family, which we are gradually selling. Ito Shinsui belongs to the great masters of the Shin Hanga movement.  In 1952 the Japanese government declared his artwork an intangible national treasure, the highest public award a Japanese artist could achieve. The print size is 15 3/4 x 10 3/4 inches.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers.  All four borders are intact.  The artist’s signature and his chop are at the upper  right corner of the print while the title of the print “Snow” and the publication date Taisho 15 (1927) are in the left border.  This original woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese mulberry paper.   This original woodblock print is in excellent condition.   Please examine the photos. It is hard to find such a beautiful original Japanese woodblock print signed by the famous Showa Shin Hanga woodblock print master Ito Shinsui in the public nowadays.  This woodblock print is definitely an incredible piece for collecting.  Any credit card, visa, master card, bank and post office money order, cashier check and personal check are accepted.  Personal checks will take about ten days to clear. Shipping is $16 anywhere in US by USPS priority mail with insurance and tracking.  International shipping charges are US$25 through 1st class airmail WITHOUT insurance, buyers will have to assume all the risks during the mailing.
