Orig Japanese Woodblock Print Tokuriki Tomikichiro Uchida Printmaker Kiyomizu Temple 1970s
This is a very a beautiful and special ORIGINAL Japanese woodblock print “Kiyomizu Temple” signed by the famous Showa Shin Hanga woodblock print master Tomikichiro Tokuriki (1902-1999) made in 1970s IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. This is an original woodblock print more than 50 years old. This woodblock print is from my family seven-decade Japanese woodblock prints and Asian Arts collections. The size of the print is 11 x 11 3/4 inches. The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers. The artist’s signature, his chop mark and the title of the print “Kiyomizu Temple” are at the lower left corner of the print. This original woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese Washi paper. Except for some minor ink smearing in the lower right border tip, which does not affect images and has been here since this ORIGINAL woodblock print was first made, this original woodblock print is IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. It is hard to find such a beautiful and rare ORIGINAL Japanese woodblock print signed by the Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print master Tomikichiro Tokuriki in the public nowadays.
