A HUGE Limited Number Orig Japanese Woodblock Print PENCIL sign Hashimoto Okiie Horyuji Temple 1958

This is a HUGE, very beautiful and rare LIMITED-NUMBER (7/50) ORIGINAL Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print “Horyuji Temple in Nara” PENCIL SIGNED by the famous Showa Shin Hanga woodblock master Hashimoto Okiie (1899-1993) made in 1958.  This is an ORIGINAL woodblock print more than 60 years old.  This woodblock print is one of the core collections of a large number of gorgeous, different-styled Japanese woodblock print collections in my family, which we are gradually selling.  The information of Hashimoto Okiie and the price of his woodblock prints can be found on the Internet.  The print size is 18 1/4 x 22 3/4 inches, which is MUCH LARGER than the traditional Shin Hanga woodblock prints.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers.  All four borders are intact.  The artist’s chop mark is at the lower left corner of the print while the artist PENCIL SIGNATURE, the time this print was made “1958”, LIMITED-NUMBER (7/50) and title of the print “Horyuji Temple” are in the bottom border. There is another artist’s chop mark in the lower right border of this ORIGINAL woodblock print.
