A Great Original Japanese Woodblock Print Okuyama Jihachiro Keio Mita University Showa 17

This is a very beautiful and special ORIGINAL Japanese woodblock print “Keio Mita University” signed by the Showa Shin Hanga woodblock print master Okuyama Jihachiro (1907-1981) made in Showa 17, which is 1942 IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  This is an original woodblock print about 80 years old.  This woodblock print is from my family seven-decade old collection of Japanese woodblock prints and Asian Art.  To see more on my family Japanese woodblock print and Asian art collection, please search for shinhangagallery.com on Google.  The size of this original woodblock print is 12 1/2 x10 1/4.  The signature of Okuyama Jihachiro and the publication date (Summer Showa 17, 1942) are at the lower right corner of the print while the title of this woodblock print “Keio Mita University” is at the upper left corner.  The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers on the original Japanese Washi paper.  This ORIGINAL woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese Mulberry Washi paper.  Four borders are intact.  There is a very minor ink smearing in the bottom border and lower left border tip, which do not affect the images and I believe they have been there since this print was first made.  This ORIGINAL woodblock print is IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  It is hard to find an original Japanese woodblock print of such a beautiful and rare scene signed by the famous Showa woodblock print master Okuyama Jihachiro in the public nowadays.  This woodblock print is definitely an incredible piece for collecting.  Shipping is $16 dollars anywhere in US via USPS priority mail with insurance and tracking.  International shipping charges are US$25 through airmail WITHOUT insurance, buyers will have to assume all the risks during the mailing.  We do combined shipping.  If more than one item is purchased at the same time, the highest shipping cost will be charged.  THIS IS AN ORIGINAL JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINT SIGNED BY THE FAMOUS SHOWA SHIN HANGA WOODBLOCK PRINT MASTER OKUYAMA JIHACHIRO MADE IN SHOWA 17 (1942).  IT IS NOT A RE-CUT, REPRODUCTION, OR LITHO PRINT.
